The Dealer Acquisitionās role is to buildĀ theirĀ own pipeline of potential dealers and installers. Performs outbound cold calls to domestic andĀ InternationalĀ businessesĀ creating interests and opportunity.Ā Fields inbound phone calls from the Dealer Acquisition queue from businesses interestedĀ in partnering with Generac. This roleĀ maintainsĀ and tracks account progress inĀ CRMi-PowerLinkĀ and supports the new dealer process betweenĀ theĀ Dealer Acquisition and Inside Sales Departments.
Job Duties:
- Performs outbound cold calls to domestic andĀ InternationalĀ businesses with the goal of selling those business owners on the idea of partnering with Generac Power Systems for the sale and maintenance of Generac products.Ā
- Fields inbound phone calls from the Dealer Acquisition queue fromĀ businessĀ interested in partnering with Generac for sales,Ā maintenanceĀ and/or service.Ā
- Discuss and review contract paperwork with business owners.Ā
- Develops and compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, internet websites, and other sources.Ā Ā
- Builds own pipeline of potential dealers through prospecting for new clients and reactivating dormant accounts.Ā Ā
- Maintains and tracks account progress inĀ CRMi-PowerLink.Ā
- Meets daily call volume expectations, ensuring meeting newĀ dealer,Ā revenueĀ and daily call volume goals.Ā
- Meets customer support goals in terms of quality and service.Ā
- Supports the new dealer process between Dealer Acquisition and Inside Sales Departments.Ā
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ā Ā
- High School Diploma or GED equivalentĀ requiredĀ
- Minimum 1 years of sales experienceĀ Ā
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ā Ā
- Associateās DegreeĀ or equivalent experienceĀ
- PreviousĀ experience using SAP or equivalent ERPĀ
- Cold-calling sales experienceĀ
