The Supervisor of the SalesĀ AdministrationĀ provides direct leadership, guidance, and training forĀ theĀ SalesĀ Coordinators.Ā The purpose of this team is toĀ support our customers and sales team members by taking on administrative tasks, allowing the sales team more time to sell and ensuring customer needs are met accurately and expediently.Ā
Ā The supervisor monitorsĀ coordinatorsāĀ activities to surface opportunities for coaching and development to drive continuous improvement in quality, customer experience,Ā and overall departmental success. The supervisorĀ maintainsĀ awareness of daily operational needs of the department through various reporting mechanisms and works with department leaders/key stakeholders toĀ optimizeĀ efficiencies of processing administrative duties not tied to revenue generated tasks.Ā
Major ResponsibilitiesĀ Ā
- Selects, coaches, and develops staff.Ā SetsĀ clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and administering progressive discipline when necessary.Ā
- Provides day-to-day oversight to theĀ SalesĀ Coordinators, byĀ assistingĀ with troubleshooting situations. Provides coaching,Ā feedbackĀ and mentoring as necessary to ensure sales objectives and exceed customer expectations.Ā Ā
- Sets team metrics,Ā monitorsĀ team performance, and sets clear expectations for teamĀ leads inĀ team member coaching.Ā
- AssistsĀ with new hire interview process and provides on-the-job orientation to new Sales Coordinators.Ā
- Acts as a process ownership, partnering with Sales Operations toĀ identifyĀ needs and requests for Salesforce improvementĀ Ā
- IdentifiesĀ opportunities for continuous improvementĀ Ā
- Escalates concerns to senior leadersĀ
- AssistsĀ representatives with their development plans and develop theirĀ customer serviceĀ skills and product knowledgeĀ
- Develops process documents/proceduresĀ for topics that are unclear or haveĀ changed.Ā
- Act as a liaison betweenĀ partner teams and departmentsĀ
- Meets with partner teams to discuss and align on best practices for Salesforce case management, quality assurance expectations, SLAs, and other like processesĀ
- Handles escalated calls or issues and work withĀ appropriate teamsĀ as a liaison when necessaryĀ Ā
- Develops and grows relationships with key customers/ stakeholders, acting onĀ new informationĀ and monitoring customer satisfaction.Ā
Minimum Job RequirementsĀ
EducationĀ
Associate's degree or equivalent work experienceĀ
Work ExperienceĀ
3 years progressive work experience in an Inside Sales and/or Customer Service environmentĀ Ā
2 yearsā experience leadingĀ or mentoringĀ teams, developing people, or organizing tasksĀ
Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesĀ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsĀ
Excellent presentation and customer service skillsĀ
Excellent problem-solving skillsĀ
Continuous improvement mindsetĀ
Ability to evaluate a situation objectively and review situations in a supportive and empathetic mannerĀ Ā

Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systemĀ Ā
