School Kitchen Support Position
Our school is seeking a dependable and caring individual to support our kitchen operations and help provide nutritious meals for children ages 12 months through 6 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Prepare and serve simple, nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for young children
- 9:00 AM Morning Snack
- 12:00 PM Lunch
- 3:00 PM Afternoon Snack
- 9:00 AM Morning Snack
- Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment
- Perform light cleaning duties throughout the school as needed
- Create and share a monthly menu with families
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Qualifications
- Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience cooking for young children preferred
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Positive attitude and enjoyment of working in a school environment
