Job DetailsJob Location: WAUNAKEE, WI 53597Get It Packed. Get It Loaded. Get It Out the Door. Are you organized, dependable, and someone who likes to keep things moving? We’re looking for a Shipping Associate to join our manufacturing team! You’ll play an important role in getting our finished products safely and accurately from our facility to our customers. From preparing and packaging products to operating material-handling equipment and making sure shipments have the right paperwork, you’ll help make sure our customers get what they ordered — on time and in great condition. WHAT YOU’LL DO Prepare, package, and secure fabricated metal products for shipment. Accurately label shipments and complete shipping documentation such as BOLs and packing slips. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes/hoists as needed. Perform visual inspections to make sure products are ready to ship and meet quality expectations. Create shipping labels and arrange pickups using shipping systems and carrier websites. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Verify materials, quantities, and shipping information for accuracy. Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to keep shipments moving on schedule. Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe. Identify shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate team. THIS JOB IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU... Have experience in shipping, warehousing, material handling, or manufacturing. Are organized and pay close attention to details. Are comfortable operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Can read and understand work orders, shipping documents, and material tags. Have basic math and measurement skills. Can work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities. Are dependable and take pride in getting the job done right. Put safety first when handling materials and operating equipment.
