Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Hatties Glen Waunakee - Waunakee, WI 53597Position Type: Part TimeJob Shift: AnyPosition Summary:  The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors within an assisted living setting. This includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and supporting infection control practices in compliance with state regulations and the community’s policies.    Key Responsibilities:  Resident Room & Apartment Cleaning  Clean and sanitize resident apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchenettes.  Dust, vacuum, mop, and empty trash regularly.  Change bed linens and launder resident personal items, if required and authorized.  Common Area Cleaning  Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, dining areas, activity rooms, and restrooms.  Disinfect high-touch surfaces to support infection control.  Refill paper products and cleaning supplies in public restrooms and utility rooms.  Laundry Services  Wash, dry, fold, and distribute community linens, towels, and personal laundry as applicable.  Compliance & Safety  Use proper cleaning chemicals and follow all SDS (Safety Data Sheet) guidelines.  Observe and report any maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs.  Comply with infection control, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.  Respect resident privacy and dignity during all housekeeping activities.  QualificationsQualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.  Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control standards.  Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.  Strong attention to detail and reliability.    Working Conditions:  Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals.  Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.  May require weekend and holiday availability.    Core Competencies:  Dependability and Work Ethic  Attention to Detail  Time Management  Safety Awareness  Respect for Seniors and Resident Rights
