Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
- Current license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices, infection control, and dental radiography.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatments including restorations, extractions, and cleanings.
- Diagnose oral conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide emergency and routine dental care following WIDOC policies and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with departmental procedures.
- Collaborate with medical and mental health staff to ensure coordinated inmate healthcare.
