Position Summary: 

As a Dealer Account Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with warm leads, consulting for solutions, providing industry leading customer service, and increasing sales close rates for dealers across Britespan’s network. You will be working in concert with all departments to achieve a high rate of success.

Position Qualifications:

Education & Knowledge

  •          A strong background in B2B/B2C 
  •          A background in construction (Preferred)
  •          A college degree, technical school diploma or certifications (Preferred)
  •          Ability to read structural drawings (Preferred)

Skills

  •          Ability to work with prospective clients comfortably, clearly and effectively over the phone and on video conferencing platforms
  •          Ability to effectively sell 
  •          Knowledge of market analysis, planning, and construction
  •          Advanced ability in Microsoft Office suite
  •          Financial Mathematics: Able to functionally demonstrate the ability to work with pricing, markups, margins, and other pricing functions
  •          General Mathematics: Ability to functionally demonstrate the ability to work with calculator functions, fractions, decimal points, measurements tabulation
  •          Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to meet sales goals
  •          Flexible, highly motivated, efficient and well organized

Experience

  •          5+ years of consultative sales experience 
  •          Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics  
  •          CAD Experience (preferred)
  •          2 + years of construction-related experience (Preferred)
  •          Agricultural construction background (Preferred)
  •          Commercial construction Background (Preferred)

Communication

  •          Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, sales presentation and sales closing skills
  •          Building rapport with prospective clients and promoting a pleasant outgoing attitude
  •          Proficient in electronic communication methods such as email, text, instant messaging, video meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex

  

Responsibilities:

1. Achieve revenue goals:

  • Reasonable sales revenue models for the assigned dealer network have been established for this position that have a baseline, goal and stretch goal assigned.  
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, quality standards, industry trends and competition. 
  • Engage every assigned prospective client with Britespan sales cycle procedures and processes to achieve a high level of success, and a consistent Best-In-Class customer experience in concert with the dealer network assigned. 
  • Take ownership of each lead from inception to conclusion and hold dealer network accountable for outcome.  

2. Support the Britespan Dealer Partner Network

  • Provide Britespan dealers with the best-in-class customer service to ensure the greatest possibility to grow their business with Britespan
  • Establish professional relationships with appropriate dealer personnel 
  • Responsible for making first contact with leads (with limited exceptions – example legacy dealers). 
  • Follow up with customers regularly to collect feedback regarding the dealer network and conducting assessments to ensure that engagement between the parties is happening to Britespan’s expectations & standards 
  • Develop bi-weekly sales pipeline reviews, reporting to company stakeholders where each sales opportunity is in the sales process. 
  • Serve as a driving consultant and conduit between dealer and the Company for Dealer marketing strategy and accountability.  
  • Assist with communication to streamline resolution for field issues that arise between install crews and the Company.        Reinforce Company procedure and encourage maximum transparency & feedback. 
  • Help your dealers improve their closing ability so they can hit their Britespan sales targets
  • Ensure dealer payments are prompt and as contracted
  • Ensure dealer compliance with Britespan corporate departments with respect to procedures, forms and workflows. 
  • Work with dealers to promptly ship completed orders after manufacturing is completed.
  • Ensure warranty certification is submitted, all deficiencies are resolved, and warranty certificate is issued for all eligible orders.

3. New Dealer, Strategic Association, and Account Pursuit:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify potential new dealer partners.
  • Collect information and research potential dealers and present these clients to Britespan Business Development Managers. 
  • Identify, pursue, and maintain a list of strategic accounts and associations to increase Britespan’s market visibility. 
  • Catalog potential dealer partners, associations, and accounts in CRM system.

Working Environment:

  • Office – this position is in person. Not Remote
  • Company supplies cell phone, laptop, these remain the property of Britespan
  • All work is to be completed on Britespan owned equipment
  • Work closely with Britespan personnel as needed
  • All appropriate safety gear must be worn when on construction site. PPE will be provided by Britespan
  • Must have, or be able to acquire a Passport
