Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, works well independently, and delivers reliable service to residential and/or commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, adjusting, and replacing components
  • Test system performance and ensure proper operation
  • Install replacement parts and new equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and local codes
  • Explain system issues and repair options clearly to customers
  • Complete service tickets, work orders, and documentation accurately
  • Maintain service vehicle inventory and keep tools in good condition

Qualifications

  • HVAC certification or technical training preferred
  • EPA Section 608 Certification required
  • 2–5 years of HVAC service experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical components
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight or elevated spaces

Work Environment

  • Residential and commercial job sites
  • Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • On-call or emergency service may be required
  • Overtime and weekend work may be needed
