Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
-
Deliver compassionate and effective occupational therapy treatments under OT supervision
-
Implement individualized therapy plans focused on mobility, strength, and ADL performance
-
Support residents in regaining independence and achieving personal goals
-
Track progress and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
-
Educate residents and families on safe techniques to enhance daily functioning and independence
-
Collaborate closely with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
-
Participate in care conferences and contribute to team planning, problem-solving, and goal setting
-
Uphold professional and ethical standards in all therapy services

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Certification by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
