HOURS: Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, with an occasional Saturday morning rotation 9 AM - 12 PM if needed

Your day to day as a Personal Banker

Are you a pro at connecting with people and fostering relationships? In this role as a Personal Banker, you'll get to do just that! Your days will be filled with the excitement of creating and strengthening retail customer connections, opening new accounts for both individual and business customers, consumer lending activities, occasionally handling teller transactions and enhancing retail sales and customer service experiences. Collaborating closely with the branch manager, you'll play a key role in shaping a positive sales culture and elevating customer service standards at the branch.

What we're looking for in a Personal Banker

To thrive in the role of Personal Banker, you'll need a mix of skills to conquer the day-to-day challenges. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent (though a college degree would be a plus!), coupled with 1-3 years of experience in banking, sales, or customer service. Your success will be fueled by a sales-focused mindset, stellar interpersonal and communication abilities, and a knack for identifying customer needs and providing innovative solutions. Being organized, professional, and tech-savvy is key, along with a solid grasp of the local financial landscape to address customer inquiries effectively.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in banking, sales and/or customer service.
• Sales orientation with the ability to meet specific monthly and annual sales goals while delivering service excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop creative, workable solutions and provide problem resolution to satisfy the customer.
• Professional, thorough and organized with strong follow-up skills.
• Familiarity with the local financial marketplace to address customer inquiries.
• Ability to use computer software and embrace technology.
