POSITION SUMMARY
An Architectural Associate prepares design and construction documents under the supervision of experienced staff. Ability to complete assigned tasks with limited direction. Demonstrate experience coordinating with other consultants. Prepare planning, building and health permit submittals. Review and respond to contractor RFI's and submittals.
Requirements
EDUCATION
- Graduated with a degree in Architecture or a related program
EXPERIENCE
- Early Career with two to five-plus years of experience
- Experience working under a licensed architect in a design or production role preferred
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Adobe Acrobat / Bluebeam proficiency
- Self-motivated with a high level of accountability
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Attention to detail and solid understanding of construction means and methods
- Developing presentation and project management skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Some travel required
