Position Summary

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet company and brand cleanliness standards. This role supervises housekeeping staff, maintains quality through inspections, manages inventory, and helps create an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and supervise the housekeeping team
  • Train team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and company policies
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and brand standards are met
  • Assign daily work schedules and distribute room assignments and keys
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest housekeeping concerns
  • Partner with the General Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and developing housekeeping team members
  • Monitor productivity and ensure efficient housekeeping operations
  • Maintain inventories of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Perform room inspections, deep cleans, and housekeeping duties as needed
  • Manage lost and found procedures
  • Support other hotel departments as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Previous housekeeping leadership experience preferred (6 months to 1+ year)
  • Hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred
  • Must have flexible, open availability and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and lead a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position supervises a housekeeping team of approximately 1–15 employees and is responsible for ensuring daily performance meets company and guest service expectations.
