  • Previous experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a production facility

Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yield standards while ensuring the safest work environment possible. The role requires a strong understanding and control of the production process, accurate recordkeeping, and overall line maintenance and staffing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing daily production orders to ensure customer fulfillment
  • Ensuring all positions are staffed prior to production start-up
  • Overseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to support ergonomics
  • Monitoring machinery performance to ensure operational efficiency
  • Verifying all workstations have passed USDA inspection
  • Promoting workplace safety daily and through monthly safety meetings
  • Ensuring accurate shipments, proper inventory rotation, and correct product coding
  • Communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members
  • Supporting Team Member engagement, training, retention, and counseling
  • Collaborating with other supervisors to resolve operational issues
  • Maintaining records of reworked or returned products
  • Reinforcing continuous quality education and standards
  • Performing additional duties as needed

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma required
  • Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills preferred

Communication Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising a team performing related production tasks and activities

Travel

  • 1–5 trips per year

  • 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
