Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and support to patients during clinic visits
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, treatments, and patient assessments
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and other ordered treatments within scope of practice
- Conduct telephone triage and provide patient guidance and follow-up care coordination
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform clinical procedures as appropriate
- Coordinate referrals, testing, and follow-up care to support positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
- Collaborate with providers and clinic team members to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
- Support quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the clinic
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nurses.

License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa/Illinois for Registered Nurse.
