Job Details:

SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for assisting Maintenance Management in all functions of the Maintenance Department while adhering to maintenance programs by planning critical functions and ensuring completion.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and assign all scheduled work
  • Ensure Core Safety Mandates are followed with focus on LOTO
  • Verify work kits are complete and ready for scheduled rebuilds, projects and all assigned work
  • Coordinate and run business review meeting
  • Update and utilize data to fulfill the requirements to aid in the success of the department
  • Assist with Safety Walk-Through assessment
  • Complete Work Permit as required
  • Other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Willingness and ability to learn new processes with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
  • Able to carry out essential duties and responsibilities within safety guidelines

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must have mechanical and electrical experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent acceptable – College preferred
  • Strong computer skills with ability to learn new systems, working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and CMMS preferred.

 

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communications skills; both verbal and written skills.

Special Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, interpersonal communication skills and problem solving skills are an absolute necessity for this position. The position requires the ability to work independently.
 

Physical Requirements / Environment: 

  • Stand/Walking: Continuously (8 or more hours)
  • Other Physical Requirements:  Bend/Stoop occasionally
  • Physical Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold environment (28-34 degrees F).
