About the Role:

Pet Supplies Plus in Waxahachie, TX is looking for a passionate and experienced Grooming Lead to head up our salon and help pets look and feel their best! In this role, you'll combine your love of animals with your leadership skills to guide a talented grooming team while delivering top-notch grooming services. Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the grooming salon team to ensure high-quality, consistent pet grooming services
Perform full-service grooming including bathing, brushing, trimming, nail clipping, and styling for dogs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming salon in compliance with health and safety standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with pet owners through excellent customer service
Assist in scheduling grooming appointments and managing salon workflow efficiently
Monitor and order grooming supplies and inventory as needed
Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring a stress-free grooming experience

Requirements:

2+ years of professional pet grooming experience required
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a grooming or retail environment preferred
Proficiency in breed-specific grooming styles and techniques
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments safely
Knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and salon sanitation practices
Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about animal care
