Maintenance Tech II - Second Shift | Waxahachie | Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
(Mandatory training period to be held on first shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Summary/Scope of Role: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting with and the completion of directed tasks from the Maintenance Manager. This may include but is not limited to trouble shooting automated machine tool equipment such as lasers, punches, brakes, CNC routers, water jet and other automated equipment. The facilities and utilities side of maintenance may be included, light plumbing/electrical/HVAC activities, compressed air and bulk gases, order/pick-up of parts, and other duties as assigned under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.Â

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Taking direction from the Maintenance Manager for assigned daily and weekly job tasks.
2. Ensuring shop and machine maintenance duties are performed through to completion, to include preventive and corrective maintenance, light plumbing/electrical/HVAC activities.
3. Trouble-shooting machine/building issues.Â
4. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
• Must have 3-5 yrs. Experience in industrial environments where mechanical aptitude is required.
• Preferred experience with Amada America and Salvagnini
• Must have 3-5 yrs. Experience of industrial electrical experience.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to analyze schematics, electrical, controls, pneumatic, hydraulic.
• Proficient with high and low voltageÂ
• Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for repair or replacement parts on equipment.
• Weld various types of metals
Other Key Requirements:
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to push/pull 50 pounds repeatedly
• Must comply with and meet all pre-employment requisites, including but not limited to criminal background check prior to start date, and pre-employment andÂ
random drug testing in accordance with Company policy for the duration of employment.
