What You’ll Do (1-on-1 Direct Care):
Work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an active clinic setting using neurodiversity-affirming, assent-based care.
Implement individualized behavior plans to support functional communication, social skills, and daily living activities.
Track session data and write clear, objective daily progress notes using a digital tablet.
Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and clinical leadership to achieve positive client outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education & Credentials: High School Diploma or GED required (Active BACB RBT certification is a major plus, but not required—we will train and certify you!).
Mindset: High empathy, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting neurodivergent children.
Physical Ability: Must be active and agile—able to sit on the floor, stand, bend, kneel, run, and transition quickly to safely engage with young children at their level.
Reliability: Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to arrive at the Waxahachie clinic daily.
