BHP III – Team Lead
Location: Spark Clubhouse | 310 Williams St., Waycross Closing date: Open until filled
Hourly Rate: $20.00 + 5% stipend for team lead duties
Job Description: Responsible for working with children and adolescents with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses in schools, community setting, and home environments. Staff will also be responsible for working with youth, families, and collaborating with school staff for early intervention and promoting positive behaviors in a variety of settings. Supervises case management staff.
Job Responsibilities: Will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. May be scheduled for occasional Saturdays.
Competencies: Knowledge of diagnostic impressions or criteria. Knowledge of how client advocacy system operates. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. Knowledge of individual and group therapy techniques. Knowledge of various therapeutic models and intervention as directly related to area of assignment. Demonstrate advanced clinical skills. Proficient in the operation of a computer.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points. Three years social service experience. Associate’s degree in a social services related field (i.e. Psychology, Social Work, etc). One year experience in direct care is preferred.
