Leap Brands is partnering with a private equity-backed healthcare organization seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead and scale a multi-site healthcare platform during its next phase of growth.

This is a highly visible executive leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting growth initiatives, improving financial performance, and building the infrastructure necessary to support a rapidly expanding healthcare organization.

The ideal candidate is a proven operator who understands how to balance patient experience, clinical excellence, employee engagement, and financial performance. This individual will partner closely with the CEO, Board, investors, and executive leadership team to execute the company’s strategic vision while creating scalable systems and processes that support long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day operations across a multi-site healthcare platform
  • Drive operational consistency, patient experience, employee engagement, and financial performance across all locations
  • Establish and maintain performance standards, KPIs, and accountability throughout the organization
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve productivity, quality, and profitability
  • Develop scalable infrastructure and processes to support continued growth

Growth & Scale

  • Partner with the CEO and investors to execute growth initiatives and long-term strategic objectives
  • Support de novo expansion, acquisitions, and integration efforts
  • Evaluate market opportunities and operational readiness for growth
  • Lead post-acquisition integration planning and execution
  • Build organizational structure capable of supporting future expansion

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders throughout the organization
  • Build leadership bench strength and succession plans
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, execution, and continuous improvement
  • Coach regional and field leadership teams to improve operational performance

Financial Performance

  • Partner closely with Finance to improve revenue, profitability, labor productivity, and cost management
  • Drive achievement of EBITDA targets and operational performance goals
  • Utilize data and analytics to support decision making and operational improvements
  • Monitor and improve key business metrics across all locations

Clinical & Patient Experience Support

  • Partner with clinical leadership to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance
  • Improve patient satisfaction, retention, and overall experience
  • Support initiatives focused on clinical outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Ensure operational alignment with organizational standards and healthcare regulations

Executive Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors
  • Present operational updates, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with private equity sponsors and investors on growth planning and value creation initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Recruiting, Marketing, Development, Revenue Cycle, and Clinical Leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare services
  • Prior COO, Regional Vice President, SVP Operations, President, or similar executive leadership experience
  • Experience leading multi-site healthcare organizations
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, workforce management, patient experience, and operational performance metrics
  • Demonstrated success scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and multi-site expansion initiatives
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving EBITDA growth and operational performance
  • Proven ability to lead large teams across multiple markets and organizational levels
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills
