If you’re empathetic, a collaborative team player, and comfortable with healthcare technology, you’ll fit right in.

This role blends clinical duties, front-office support, and patient-facing responsibilities. You’ll work closely with providers and front-desk staff to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do (Clinical Responsibilities)

You will support provider-led care and perform routine clinical tasks with attention to safety and patient comfort:

  • Perform phlebotomy, obtain and process lab specimens, and document results

  • Conduct EKGs and accurately record tracings

  • Administer injectables per protocol (IM/SubQ) and monitor patients post-administration

  • Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and relevant clinical measurements

  • Prepare exam rooms, maintain clinical supplies, and follow infection control procedures

  • Assist providers with procedures and patient education as needed

What You’ll Do (Front Office & Patient Experience)

You’ll help create a welcoming, organized patient experience from check-in through check-out:

  • Greet patients with empathy and professionalism and manage check-in/check-out processes

  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to visits and document findings

  • Answer patient questions, provide clear instructions, and escalate concerns to clinical staff

  • Process payments, collect required forms, and handle basic billing-related tasks

  • Schedule and confirm appointments in the clinic scheduling system when requested

What You’ll Do (EMR & Administrative Support)

Accurate documentation and effective use of technology are critical to patient safety and clinic efficiency:

  • Maintain complete, timely, and confidential patient records in the EMR

  • Enter clinical data, lab orders, and test results with attention to detail

  • Manage daily front-desk opening/closing tasks as needed and support smooth patient flow

  • Assist with inventory tracking for clinical and front-office supplies

  • Participate in staff huddles, trainings, and quality-improvement efforts

What We’re Looking For

Must-have strengths:

  • Clinical competence in phlebotomy, EKG administration, and injectable administration

  • Experience using EMR systems and comfort learning new healthcare technologies

  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes and basic billing terminology

  • Strong front-office skills: communication, multitasking, and professionalism

  • Empathetic approach to patient care and a team-player mindset

  • Ability to follow protocols, maintain confidentiality, and work in a fast-paced clinic

Preferred/bonus:

  • Previous medical assistant experience in a primary care, specialty, or weight-loss clinic

  • Certifications in phlebotomy, CPR, or medical assisting

  • Experience training or mentoring other clinical staff

  • Make a meaningful impact on patient health and confidence

  • Work in a supportive, mission-driven clinic with collaborative teams

  • Gain hands-on experience with EMR systems, clinical procedures, and patient care workflows

  • Opportunities for professional growth and additional responsibilities

If you are an empathetic, tech-comfortable team player with the clinical skills listed above, we’d love to hear from you.
