Job Position: School Social Worker

Location: Wayne, MI 48184

Pay Rate:W2, hourly; starting at $50/hour (based on experience)

In this role, you will provide counseling and social-emotional support, collaborate with educators and families, contribute to student support planning, and help foster a positive learning environment that promotes student success and well-being.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work
Appropriate endorsement

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling services to students
Support IEP teams and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals and interventions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation and case records
Assist in developing strategies that support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success
Connect students and families with school and community resources as needed
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment

Qualifications:

Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of social-emotional learning and behavioral support practices
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Commitment to supporting student success and well-being
