Your Opportunity: Navitor, a Taylor company, is looking for a Press Operator to join their team.

Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: Monday - Tuesday | 3:30pm to 12:00am

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate finishing equipment producing paper products according to job specifications
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Perform quality control review of each order
  • Prepare orders for delivery or shipping
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

You Must Have:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis, and occasionally 50 lbs
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet set deadlines
  • Basic math skills sufficient to adjust equipment settings according to written instructions
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Ability to read and interpret general instructions and numerical data

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Mechanical or production experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Forklift certification
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
