About the Role:
MR R & J LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable Drain Cleaner to join our team in Waynesboro, MS! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping homes and businesses running smoothly by tackling tough drain and plumbing challenges every day.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and clear clogged or slow-running drains in residential and commercial settings
- Operate drain cleaning equipment including snakes, hydro-jetters, and augers
- Identify root intrusions, blockages, and pipe damage causing drainage issues
- Perform routine drain maintenance and preventative cleaning services
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers
- Maintain and clean all tools, equipment, and service vehicles
- Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices on every job
Requirements:
- Prior experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or a related trade preferred
- Familiarity with drain cleaning tools and equipment such as hydro-jets and cable machines
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
