OPERATOR EXTRUSION

Summary

An Extrusion Operator is an entry-level position in the ERP extrusion area. Personnel hired into this position are trained on one or more of the following operations: extrusion, taping, inline cutting and drilling, post curing and packaging product required for orders.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to safely and efficiently complete production
• Report daily production accurately
• Set up necessary equipment based on established standards
• Verify products meet quality standards
• Measure parts using calipers and rulers to ensure parts are proper size
• Understand process sheets, work instructions, and product prints
• Report to work as scheduled and on time.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Must be safety conscience
• Must be able to keep detailed records
• Must have good hand and eye coordination, good eyesight, corrective lens acceptable
• Must be able to read/write English and make simple math calculations
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to maintain a clean work environment
• Must be able to work in a dusty, hot/cold environment
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Must have a willingness to cross train on multiple processes

Payrate / Hours

• Starting Payrate - $14.50/hr
• + $0.50 increase with completion of training & 90-days
• 1^st shift 7am-3:30pm
• 2^nd shift 3pm-11:30pm w/ +$1.00 shift differential
• 3^rd shift 11pm-7:30am w/ +$2.00 shift differential
