Summary/Objective
The Quality Control Specialist in PCB & Electronics inspects materials, components, weldments, and finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and quality requirements. The role performs incoming, first-article, in-process, and final inspections, documents inspection results, non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions.
Essential Functions

- Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds, among other non-conformances and findings to supervisors for corrective action.
- Performs all types of inspections, such as incoming, first article, in-process, and final.
- Compiles quality records.
- Assists production departments in determining the dispositioning of defective items in-house and the Purchasing Department on defective product from outside vendors.
- Works with engineering on any problems discovered on blueprints and bill-of-materials and working with the Industrial Engineer on discrepancies with routers.
- Takes care of equipment calibration requirements for various departments.
- Uses measuring equipment such as optical comparator, Cadillac gauge, surf tester, and tri-mics, as well as reading blueprints, height gauges, and doing basic math.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm, or 2nd shift – 3:30pm to midnight, 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.Â
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Two (2) years of manufacturing experience in Quality Control or similar job function Â
