MARKETING SPECIALISTÂ (Permanent)
Our client, an independent financial planning firm in Rochester, is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist to join their growing team.Â
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage marketing strategies/campaigns for financial services
- Develop and execute targeted inbound marketing strategies designed to attract and engage high-net-worth individuals and prospective clients
- Manage the firm’s digital marketing channels by creating and updating website content, SEO initiatives, email campaigns, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Create, edit, and distribute compelling educational financial literacy content, blog articles, market updates, and video shorts
- Engage with local businesses & educational establishments to identify and create opportunities to schedule events/seminars and engage with the community
- Manage logistics for events, webinars, and workshops from planning stages through execution by sending out invitations, organizing and setting up, creating/distributing promotional materials/PowerPoint Presentations, videotaping event, and conducting post-event follow-up
- Increase brand awareness and identify opportunities for local sponsorship, charity, and public relations
- Create all marketing materials, ensuring compliance with SEC, FINRA, and firm guidelines/standards
- Gather data, analyze, and report on ROI/cost per lead/conversion rates in order increase business and optimize spending
- Maintain up to date knowledge with SEC/FINRA compliance guidelines
- Utilize CRM systems, design software, and email marketing platforms to drive marketing campaigns
- Work well both independently and in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time, direct hire
- 100% in-office; some local travel is required
- M-F 9:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility
- $55,000 - $60,000 annually depending on experience
- 401k match up to 4%, 2 weeks PTO, 40 hours sick time, Paid holidays
- 3-5 years’ marketing experience, preferably in financial services, wealth management, insurance, or related
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related
- Strong computer skills: Canva, PowerPoint, Illustrator
- Strong organization skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Relocation not availableÂ
