Location & Shift:
Webster, WI.  Qualified candidates will need to report to the Webster, WI facility on a full-time basis.
This position is open for 1st shift.

Major Areas of Accountability:
Receives parts delivered to the facility by common carrier, company vehicle or other means of transportation.  Including verification and documentation of accurate deliveries.

Handles material within the receiving area.  Moves material to storage and staging areas using a fork truck and hand carts.  Ships wire cage containers to foundries for re-use.  Documents non-inventory deliveries and distributes them to the departments that ordered the item(s).

Forwards received parts to second vendors as required, processing all paper records, scheduling the carrier and verifying quantities.

Pulls goods from inventory and packs orders for shipping, following standard packaging procedures, making certain that all types and quantities of materials are correct.

Prepares batches of orders for daily truck, carrier pickup.  Schedules shipments for pickup via phone and/or email.

Provides backup to the assembly, accessories assembly area, building kits, boxing, and transporting them to the shipping area as needed.  Occasionally performs other production work, as requested.

Physical Requirements:
  • Work requires frequent lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and handling of materials and packages.  Packing parts involves movement of arms, wrists, and fingers.  A considerable amount of time is spent moving within the facility to accomplish tasks.
Most work is medium, requiring exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force frequently.  At times work is heavy, requiring exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move parts and packages.  Mechanical assistance or help from other material handlers is available and should be used for heavy loads.

Required Experience:
Must be able to read, write, and use basic math; a high-school diploma (GED or HSED) is preferred.  Training is provided on-the-job.  Previous experience is beneficial as are computer skills.
