What You’ll Do Â
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge in accordance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements Â
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations Â
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, workflow, and staff coordination Â
- Supervise, train, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support team members Â
- Maintain all required pharmacy records, documentation, and operational standards Â
- Oversee controlled substance inventory, reconciliation, and security procedures Â
- Develop, implement, and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures Â
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards Â
- Lead quality assurance efforts and medication error prevention initiatives Â
- Coordinate inspections and respond to regulatory inquiries Â
- Monitor prescription volume, staffing needs, and operational efficiency Â
- Oversee and ensure compliance of compounding activities in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies Â
- Perform and oversee collection procedures, documentation, and chain-of-custody requirements for drug testing services Â
Requirements
Â
 What We’re Looking ForÂ
- Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy license Â
- Minimum of 3-5 years of retail pharmacy experience Â
- Immunization certification and ability to administer vaccines Â
- Willingness to learn and perform USP 795 non-sterile compounding Â
- Strong communication and leadership skills Â
- Experience with MTM, immunizations, and third-party adjudication Â
- Strong patient care and customer service skills Â
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Bilingual in English and Spanish Â
- Previous Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager experience Â
- Experience with PioneerRx and MatchRx software Â
