About the Job
An exciting opportunity to join our team as a software tester. You will be working alongside developers, designers and product owners to help create our much-loved software.聽
You will be responsible for the QA within your product group and testing throughout the software development lifecycle. From creating tests plans and helping with requirements at the start to UAT and integration testing at the end.
You will need a keen eye for detail and analytical mind as you work across various parts of our platform including web and mobile apps.聽
The role and your responsibilities聽
Work with software developers and project support teams聽
Identify business requirements聽
Plan projects聽
Monitor applications and software systems聽
Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing聽
Write and execute test scripts聽
Run manual and automated tests聽
Test in different environments including web and mobile聽
Write bug reports聽
Assess code聽
Carry out resource planning聽
Review documentation聽
Work towards departmental and project deadlines聽
Provide quality assurance聽
Provide objective feedback to software development project teams聽
Troubleshoot and problem solve聽
Design tests to mitigate risk聽
Present findings to software development and business user teams聽
Work on multiple projects at one time聽
Document analysis
Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.
Required experience
Relevant Computer Science or Engineering degree, or evidence of relevant professional training courses.
2+ years working in QA as a manual tester or similar聽
Automation Experience (with Cypress or another JavaScript based platform is a big plus)
Experience of an Agile development environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
