We are looking for someone who:

Can provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist and follow the guidelines set by the Practice Act of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Advisors.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Documents patient treatment and progress appropriately in the medical record system.
  • Communicates patient information with the supervising physical therapist, patient, family members, physicians, team members, and other disciplines.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities; and in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
  • Alertness and careful attention to detail are required to avoid injury. Must be able to deal with stressful and/or complex situations.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations, and jacho standards.
  • Performs related duties as required.


Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas.
  • 2 years related experience.
