CEM Corporation (Matthews, NC) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Technician to join our Service Depot team in Matthews, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing as-needed repairs and calibrations on microwave-based products. Tasks range from general maintenance to complete unit rebuilding, working on both customer-owned and in-house systems.   Responsibilities and Duties: Perform thorough visual inspections and operational checks on incoming units Diagnose issues using fault isolation and troubleshooting techniques Execute necessary repairs on defective units Install software updates or hardware retrofits as required Calibrate systems and conduct final functional testing prior to return Accurately document all repair activities, including time, parts used, and resolution Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Technical background in electronics or electromechanical systems Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation and schematics Competence using basic hand tools Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs
