Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Night Shift Production Supervisor for its underground location based out of Weeping Water, NE. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in managing all safety, operational, financial, environmental and personnel duties for the plant in accordance with company programs, policies, and guidelines as well as government agencies.
Location:
Weeping Water Mine is an underground limestone operation located near Weeping Water in Cass County, Nebraska. It is one of the largest and most productive limestone mines in the region, specializing in crushed and broken limestone for construction and industrial applications. The mine utilizes a room-and-pillar method for extraction and includes both underground and surface processing facilities.
Situated in Nebraska’s limestone-rich corridor, Weeping Water Mine plays a vital role in supporting infrastructure development across the Midwest. Its operations contribute significantly to the local economy, providing jobs and essential raw materials for roads, buildings, and other foundational projects.
Responsibilities:
- Training and development of the team, scheduling, performance management and effective leadership of the hourly workforce
- Successfully leading and managing to production, safety, quality, employee development and environmental objectives and metrics
- Performing all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in aggregate operations
- Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment, preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- The ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office programs and other similar programs
Work Environment
This job operates frequently in an operations and maintenance environment in an underground mine location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination, manual dexterity, repetitive motion, standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, bending and stooping, working from a elevated position and the ability to drive.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that regularly requires long weekday hours and occasional Saturday work. Occasional travel will be required.
