Are you an exemplary accounting and finance professional with a proven track record of success? Do you possess a Bachelor's in Accounting with comprehensive knowledge of full-cycle property accounting processes and Yardi Voyager? We're seeking a skilled Controller to oversee our commercial real estate portfolio and department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage staff of 3.
- Monitor and enforce strict due dates and deadlines.
- Manage high volume AP/AR, general ledgers, bank reconciliation, balance sheets, and financial statements.
- Produce high quality monthly reporting for clients
- Communicate with client throughout cycle as needed.
- Ensure seamless month/quarterly/annual closes for multi-entity accounting operations.
- Produce annual property budgets.
- Produce annual CAM Reconciliations.
- Regular internal audits.
- Implement robust internal controls while providing insightful accounting analyses.
- Utilize Yardi Voyager to maximize efficiency and accuracy in property accounting.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in Commercial Property Accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Yardi Voyager with superior Excel skills.
- Smaller company experience working hands-on while overseeing a full staff.
