Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver A or B  - Vactor Operator with Tanker certification to join our team. This role involves operating specialized trucks for various environmental and construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with truck driving, route driving, and handling different types of trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Duties

  • Operate Vactor trucks equipped with tankers for cleaning and maintenance services
  • Drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes
  • Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and vehicle maintenance records
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment at job sites
  • Follow all safety protocols related to tanker operations and truck driving

Requirements

  • Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for tanker, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, forklift, dump truck, and roll-off truck operations
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles
  • Ability to operate manual transmission trucks efficiently
  • Experience with tractor-trailers and freight load/unload procedures
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to tanker operations and heavy vehicle driving
  • Strong driving record with a focus on safety and compliance
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting or maneuvering equipment at job sites
  • Flexibility to work on various routes and adapt to changing schedules
  • Must be able to travel out of state for up to two week periods. Lodging is provided by the company and meal perdiems are paid.

Compensation will be based on driver safety experience and vactor expereince.
