Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Safety Specialist to champion safety excellence across construction projects. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that promote a secure work environment. Your expertise in risk management, occupational health, and compliance management will ensure that all construction activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. By fostering a culture of safety, you will help protect our teams, minimize hazards, and ensure smooth project execution from start to finish.


Duties

  • Develop and maintain robust safety protocols aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards related to construction management and site operations.
  • Lead safety training sessions for construction teams, emphasizing risk management strategies and OSHA compliance.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety policies using construction management software and onsite supervision.
  • Investigate incidents or near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions related to workers' compensation claims and occupational health concerns.
  • Collaborate with project managers to integrate EHS (Environmental, Health, Safety) best practices into daily operations.
  • Manage compliance documentation, permits, and reports to ensure ongoing adherence with local regulations and industry standards.
