The CT Tech operates Cat Scan equipment to perform a variety of imaging procedures as indicated by protocol. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of their imaging procedures.

  • Performs a variety of diagnostic CT Scan procedures
  • Obtains all required documentation/supplies.
  • Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PAC's.
  • Organizes work area and maintains supplies.

Education:
  • Graduate of Allied Health Program

Experience:
  • Six months experience in trauma, stroke, pediatrics and invasive procedures.
  • May include student clinical rotation completed at St. Mary's or like facility.

License:
  • Radiography (ARRT)
  • Certified Radiological Technologist (State License)
  • NMTCB (CT) CT certificate required within 12 months of hire.

Certification:
  • BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN
