We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Legal Professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive legal support related to construction contracts and government bid contracts and documents.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure clarity and legal soundness.
  • Review and prepare extensive municipal and government bid documents for the estimating department.
  • Provide legal support for general & commercial litigation related to construction disputes, including document review and preparation.
  • Support legal administrative functions such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prepare clear and concise legal writing, reports, and summaries to facilitate decision-making processes for project teams and management.

Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent research skills combined with the ability to interpret procedural laws accurately.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of legal administrative processes including filing procedures, data entry accuracy, proofreading standards, document management practices, and handling confidential information responsibly.
