Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Mortuary Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through professional communication, respond to incidents including sensitive areas and behavioral situations, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and maintaining awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
