Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Verification in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This role may include routine patrols, visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and professional communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at the residential location, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and communicate access-related information in a courteous and professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Support property rules and community standards by observing for policy violations, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
