Position Specific Description
This position will report to the Plant Manager and be based at West County Energy Center in Loxahatchee, FL.

The successful candidate will have a strong safety leadership presence and have bias for action. Instrument & controls and electrical maintenance experienced preferred. Experience in planning and executing daily maintenance on industrial plant equipment including: gas turbines, steam turbines, instruments, transmitters, and valves. The position will troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations while ensuring the plant's electrical and I&C equipment is maintained at the highest operational standards and available for use at all times.

Electrical troubleshooting skillset required: AC/DC motors/controllers, Low/Medium voltage circuit breakers, generators, excitations systems, and general electrical maintenance standards. Combined cycle operations and I&C knowledge is desired.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drafts troubleshooting plans and builds work scope packages for field techniciansPerforms other job-related duties as assigned
- Performs job function with minimal oversite

Preferred Qualifications
- Six sigma quality tools preferred
- Experience preferred in managing projects within budget and identifying capital/O&M projects to forecast plant's future budget
- Engineering Degree
- Combined Cycle Power Plant operations
- Electrical Journeyman Certificate
- Ability to read and understand electrical prints and diagrams
- Supervisor/Foreman experience desired
- Ability to obtain/maintain NERC medium access
