Position: Maintenance Technician II

Location: Riverview House Apartments, Lake Worth Beach, FL

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with on call/rotationΒ

What You'll Do:

  • Keep our community running smoothly through daily repairs and property upkeep
  • Turn vacant units into move-in-ready homes within established deadlines
  • Respond to service requests promptly, delivering responsive, efficient, and courteous customer service every time
  • Champion a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and proactively reporting concerns to your supervisor
  • Contribute to the overall curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Participate in ongoing preventative maintenance to protect the long-term value of the community
  • Complete required documentation β€” training logs, reports, and inventory updates β€” accurately and on time
  • Grow your skillset by seeking out educational and professional development opportunities


What You Bring:

  • Education:
    1. High school diploma or GED; industry-related coursework a plus
  • Experience:
    1. Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance and general repair experience
    2. Proficiency across multiple trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more
    3. Must own basic tools as permitted by state laws
    4. Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing Laws
    5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently
  • Skills & Certifications:
    1. EPA Section 608 Type I & II or Universal Technician license β€” strongly preferred
    2. Valid Driver's License β€” required
    3. Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping
