JOB SUMMARY

KIOTI Tractor is looking for Heavy Duty Forklift Operators who will be responsible for shipping and receiving heavy equipment such as Tractors, ZTRs, and UTVs, and Implements. KIOTI equipment can weight up 7,000 pounds and requires extreme care while moving to prevent unnecessary damages. Navigating throughout the Warehouse with Heavy Equipment is an integral part of this role requiring precise movements and high level of care. Equipment will be unloaded from Ocean Containers for Receiving and loaded onto Vans and Flatbeds for Shipping by our Forklift Operators.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

• Operate large forklifts with extreme care in order to move heavy equipment throughout the facility
• Unload Tractors, UTVs, ZTRs, attachments/implements, and other Parts from Ocean Containers
• Load different styles of trucks with an assortment of heavy equipment such as Tractors, UTVs, and ZTRs
• Complete daily inspection reports for assigned machines and identify operational issues
• Ability to identify appropriate equipment to pull for orders
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area while following prescribed safety regulations 
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Must be familiar with common material handling equipment.

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years in warehouse distribution experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of prior Heavy Duty Forklift Experience is required
• Required to read and write English and follow verbal instructions
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus

Physical Demands: Required to lift up to 50 lbs., regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility. 

Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in a warehouse setting. Exposed to noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils. 

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
