The ideal candidate would have the following skills:
- Good communication skills including reading and writing
- Ability to use, and read a tape measure
- Basic math skills
- Maintain good attendance
- Must have reliable transportation to work daily
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs and walk/stand/bend for the duration of an 8-hour shift
- Enjoy a “Team” atmosphere and be a “Team Player”
- Have an eye for quality, practice good work safety habits, and follow established Standard Operating Procedures to achieve company objectives
- Have a strong attention to detail and be a self-motivated individual
Job description may include, but not limited to:
- Confirms purchase orders and/or shop tickets
- Measure proper layouts required on molds and prep for production using waxes, tape, masking paper, blocking devices, and tape measures
- Polish/grind and prepare product for shipment to customer
- Utilize resins and fillers to produce, or repair products as needed
- Operate a spray gun to apply gel coats (must be able to wear a respirator)
- Load correct product using shipping manifests
- Follow all procedures to ensure quality and safety
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
Some areas of production may differ in their daily tasks and shift times may vary. Superior Home Products Team Members must be willing to work in any area as necessary to meet company objectives. Daily and/or weekend overtime may be necessary at times to meet customer demands. Although overtime is necessary at times, we strive to allow Team Member’s to achieve a positive work-life balance.
 Starting pay is from $18.00 - $19.00 an hour depending on job position, skills, and experience
