About the Role:
The Authorizations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that all necessary approvals and authorizations for medical services and procedures are obtained accurately and in a timely manner. This position serves as a liaison between healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to facilitate the authorization process, thereby minimizing delays in patient care. Minimum Qualifications:

- At least 1-2 years of experience in medical authorizations, healthcare administration, or a related field.

- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and authorization management software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in medical billing, coding, or healthcare administration (e.g., CPC, CPB, or similar).
- Experience working with multiple insurance providers and familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex authorization issues independently.
