Position Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiologist to provide inpatient, on-site diagnostic imaging services at a hospital-based practice in Wesley Chapel and St. Petersburg, Florida. This position focuses on high-quality, timely imaging interpretation in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret a broad range of inpatient diagnostic imaging studies, which may include X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, based on training and credentialing.
  • Provide imaging coverage for inpatient units and the emergency department.
  • Communicate findings clearly and promptly with referring physicians and care teams.
  • Participate in on-site radiology coverage during scheduled shifts.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting in the radiology information system and electronic health record.
  • Adhere to departmental protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement activities.
  • Support patient safety initiatives and evidence-based imaging practices.

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • DEA registration or eligibility, if required.
