This role is responsible for accurate specimen collection, documentation, and participant care while ensuring study procedures are performed in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, Spaulding Clinical Research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), scope of practice, and current training and delegation.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform venipuncture, capillary collection, and IV specimen collection according to study protocols while maintaining appropriate aseptic technique. Accurately collect, identify, and manage blood and other biological specimens in accordance with study requirements. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of specimen collection and other protocol-required activities. Review applicable study protocols and Study-Specific Training (SST) and complete required training and delegation documentation prior to performing study procedures. Support participant safety, comfort, and care throughout study participation. Follow applicable SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, HIPAA, OSHA, Exposure Control requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. Assist with additional clinical or study-related tasks as trained, delegated, and supervised by Charge Staff or other authorized personnel. Participate in quality assurance activities and support continuous compliance with study and clinical requirements. Maintain flexibility to support varying shifts and study needs.
