Supports key Customer Service programs to achieve the Company Vision of becoming #1 in Customer Service, ensuring all Front-End Operational Policies and procedures are executed in all stores, in a manner complying with Company guidelines. Ensures we are delivering exceptional customer experiences in our stores by executing the vision and strategy for customer satisfaction across the banner. Through coaching and counseling he/she collaborates with district managers, store directors, specialists and department managers to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction. Drives processes and practices to foster a culture of service within the organization at all levels ensuring that store associates are friendly, responsive to the customer's needs, knowledgeable and are passionate for the food and drug business. Works in collaboration and partners with other departments, Retail Operations Support, Merchandising, other banners and functional group to ensure quality, timeliness and effectiveness of all deliverables in achieving our vision.
Main responsibilities:

Supports and implements short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures in the area of Customer Service.

Supports integration of Customer Service Vision into company-wide planning initiatives by all departments.

Collaborates to develop policies and procedures that are aimed at being right for our customers with ease of delivery, while maintaining security measures.

Ensures Front End policies and procedures are consistent across all store locations.

Supports Operations team to ensure execution of proper Front End work methods to improve productivity and customer throughput.

Helps identify and monitor district dress code needs for assigned stores and monitor budgets.

Partners with banner Asset Protection to assist in any investigations related to Front End errors, fraud and theft.

Works closely with assigned District Managers and Operation Specialists to achieve goals and visions for their respective districts.

Collects, reviews, and evaluates Customer Service best practices and programs from each of the legacy partners. Integrates selections into Customer Service program.

Ensure compliance to federal, state and local laws (AML, WIC, Lottery, Tobacco, Alcohol) Install and support SCO locations Ensure execution of GCM, O/S program, SRA, Checker Productivity, Schedule Efficiency, and GS1

Work with outside vendors when needed (Lottery,Tomra, Catalina)

Takes the lead with preparation and execution for all new stores, remodeled stores and store closings.

Supports all Customer Service programs that are consistent across the company while meeting the unique needs of the banner, as well as the needs of Grocery, GM, Fresh, and other departments.

Coach and guide performance improvement in underperforming stores.

Supports integration of Customer Service training initiatives and information into routine new associate orientation or other ongoing, standard associate education and communication vehicles

Performs related duties as requested by Manager of Customer Service and Corporate Retail Operations Support and partners with other functional areas.

Communication-Compiles, processes, and analyzes data available in the areas of responsibility; resolves data discrepancies; provides data information to appropriate parties. * Prepares documents and composes routine correspondence in the areas of customer service; ensures timely responses to a variety of written requests.

Develops and distributes routine associate communication products related to Customer Service including DMB articles, portal content, and others. Job Requirements Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Physical requirements:

Incumbent may stand and/or walk for long periods of time while executing in-store responsibilities.

Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
