Description

The Key Objective of the Warehouse Worker is to contribute to the growth and profitability of Multi-Pak by effectively executing the functions of Warehouse. Specifically, under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, he/she is responsible and has commensurate authority for the following:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:


The Key Objective of the Warehouse Worker is achieved if the annual review shows that:

• Receiving and Shipping functions are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner and according to all SOPs and cGMPs.

• Trucks are checked for damage or debris before loading or unloading.

• Confirming the shipping documents match the finished goods before loading.

• Conducting the accurate breakdowns of receiving.

• Finished goods are checked for accuracy and damage before loading.

• Accurate picking and transfer records are kept on all outbound inventory.

• Issuances are filled out completely and accurately.

• Transfers are staged and in an orderly manner.

• Staging all production rooms accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the startup of production lines.

• Trucks are loaded accurately and safely.

• Ensures that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.

• Pallets are staged in warehouse per the warehouse layout.

• Garbage is disposed of on a daily basis. 

• Floors are swept and kept free of debris. 


Nonessential Functions/Demands:

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.


Requirements

    

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


· A collaborative and positive attitude is required. A desire to learn is exhibited.

· A high school graduate with experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management for a manufacturing company. 

· Bi-lingual is a plus (English-Spanish). 

· Previous certification demonstrating ability to drive a forklift.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:


Manager: Warehouse Supervisor

Managerial Responsibility: None


PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:


· Must be able to lift-up to 45 pounds frequently and 75 pounds on occasion.

· Must be able to walk or stand up to 90% of the time.

· The person in this position is sometimes required to function in narrow aisles or passageways while walking throughout the warehouse area.

· The person in this position will need to occasionally kneel, climb, crawl, climb and/or reach to complete their job duties.
