POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for ensuring the Credit Union's building systems and equipment are functioning properly and are maintained in excellent condition. Maintains and inspects lease spaces, open property, buildings, equipment, utilities, furnishings, and grounds. Assumes indirect responsibility for maintenance and landscaping of assigned areas. Performs preventative maintenance, makes minor repairs, assists outside service personnel and vendors as needed. Reports major repair and maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is based out of Kemba Credit Union's Operations Center in West Chester, Ohio.
Requires travel to multiple locations across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky to perform site inspections and maintenance functions as needed.
Provides emergency 24-hour on-call services as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Ensures building equipment and systems are kept in proper working order and repaired when necessary.
Receives, manages, and processes work order requests and ensures problems are resolved quickly.
Performs maintenance on all security systems, door locks, etc. and minor building or furniture modifications or repairs.
Completes inspections and tests, performs preventative maintenance, maintains logs and records reflecting results.
Assists outside service representatives in checking, maintaining, and repairing building equipment.
Completes assigned maintenance functions in accordance with established policies and procedures, and with ADA and OSHA regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
One of the following: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of facilities equipment and maintenance procedures.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year to three years of similar or related experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Good communication skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook/Excel/Word/Teams/etc.)
Ability to travel

PHYSICAL ABILITY:
Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout facilities.
Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.

WEATHER:
Worker is subject to outside seasonal temperatures which may include extreme heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32 degrees).

TRAVEL:
Requires frequent travel to/from branches in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
